  2. Make unread count for folders a different colour

    to differentiate the jumble of numbers
    ... or even offset by a character to stand out just a little.

  3. Copy to clipboard

    It will be very useful have possibility to copy title of article and link to clipboard for quick sharing.
    It can the following format:

  4. User-selectable to NOT prompt "Do you really want to mark all 'x' as read?"

    If you don't read many (any?) messages in a feed and you want to just mark them all as read, it prompts you "Do you really want to mark all 'x' as read?". There should be a user-selectable option to disable this and just mark all as read without prompting.

  5. Add some default padding between divs in feed content

    Currently multiple sequential divs in a feed are rendered with essentially no spacing between them, even if otherwise unstyled. This results in some content seeming to be excessively bunched up (e.g. a sequence of text, image, text appears with no spacing between the text and the image).

  6. Implement comments API

    Please implement comments API. Because fetched from the original posts comments - is killer feature of BazQux. I really would see comments in mobile applications such NewsJet, News+ and Just Reader.

  7. Refining jump to next feed

    The current implementation of jump to next feed is kind of a blunt tool. I suggest the following refinement. When at an beginning or end of a view. Using "j", "k", "L" or Spacebar to go past the border will:

    1. Cancel all current and queued keypresses.
    2. Show a small notice that the current action will advance feeds. I suggest a colored or gray bar above the first item or below the last item.
    3. Add a small delay, before accepting new keypresses.
    4. Continuing presses past the border will then advance feeds.

    This will prevent incorrect feed changes, an having to manually…

  8. Support Pocket for retrieving full text

    I use MrReader on iOS and there I have experienced that Pocket is better (and faster) on retrieving the article's text.

  11. Fuzzy matching for feed selection (the dd) dialog.

    Instead of showing all subscriptions that contain entered word as a sub-string, do case-insensitive distance-scored fuzzy matching instead.

  12. Send content feed in email body

    When I share feeds over email in Google Reader, it include all body of the feed in message body. BazQux include only URL. Please include body of the message to email body :)

  14. Different colors for "selected message" line on left side

    On the left side of a message a thin blue is visible. I would like this line to be 1 point thicker and have a different color for indicating the read status.

  15. Add "batch" edit (.. just like Google Reader had)

    Google Reader had under Settings a section to do changes to multiple feeds at the same time. For example, allowing to select multiple feeds at the same time and move them a different folder. That section in google reader also allowed to edit feed tittles to multiple feeds at the same time. Really missing that feature from google reader

  16. Right cursor to mark current message read and move to next unread

    When using my MacBook it's more comfortable to use the right cursor than the letter I, because the cursor keys are on the bottom right.

    Сейчас для некоторых фидов надо жать клавишу g для каждого поста. Предлагаю сделать опцию у фида: сразу загружать полные тексты.

  18. 3 Line preview of article

    Can you add an option where we have a 3 or 4 line preview of the selected article in list view, so we can see a bit about the article as we use the keyboard to scroll through articles and open interesting ones in the background. Thanks

  19. Help users to find dead/abandoned feeds (feeds without news for a long time)

    Manually looking through all my feeds I found a lot that have not been posting news for months and could be considered dead/abandoned. It would be great if there was a way to find these feeds in Bazqux, for example by having a list of feeds without new posts for, say, 2 month.

  20. assigning folders UX improvements

    assiging/managing folders to a feed is not the best experience and can be easily improved with a few tweaks:
    1) when user selects the folder to assign the feed to from pull down menu the pull down disappears. Most of the time, I want to assign the feed to multiple folders so this an annoyance.
    2) sometimes the vertical scroller does not appear in the pull down menu. this seems to be a bug. I have a lot of folders and when this happens I cannot get to all of them so I have to close the pull down menu…
