bulk edit , add star , del star , add tag , del tag
I always use bazqux like this
1. add star
2. add tag in "starred item" (use filter) -------------> bulk edit ❤❤❤❤❤

It's possible to bulk unstar or untag items (right click on Starred items or tag in left panel and select Unstar/Untag).
Bulk tagging filtered items is interesting idea but it's low priority at the moment.
