  1. Restrict 'Mark as Read' to Button

    At the moment it is possible to mark an article as read by clicking in the body of the article. This can lead to articles being marked as read accidentally and without realising.
    It would be great if it were possible to restrict the 'mark as read' function to just the • button and the 'm' key to avoid missing articles.

  2. Option to hide Starred Items and Tags from left navigation column

    I don't use starred items and tags so it takes up some valuable real estate at the top of the left panel.

  3. Better/easier way for handling/showing read status

    Personally I manually toggle the read status of a message. Sometimes I accidently toggle it. So it would be nice to have a read/unread button in the top bar and a different line color on the left side of the message: e.g. read of read and blue (as now) for unread.

  4. Three column display

    I like to read one message at a time, without seeing the next message under the current message. A clean display. In other words just like feedbin.me does: subscription list, message list, message display.

  5. Move favourite share service out of share menu to top & bottom of article

    I use the pocket service all the time. It would be handy if I could choose my most used services, (like email & pocket), and move them out of the share menu and have them sitting next to the share button for one click access.

  6. Show number of new posts from last visit (like 59 +5) in a left panel

    If I don't look through some feed today I will see if there some updates in it tomorrow

  7. Scroll modifier for half page

    It would be grate to have a Ctrl modifier for Space and Shift Space. Instead of scrolling a full page it would scroll 1/2 a page. I have been experimenting with this in the js console:

    mw = document.getElementById("uw-1");
    mw.scrollTop = mw.scrollTop (+/-) (mw.clientHeight / 2);

    I think it would be a grate modifier.

  8. Implement Full Text RSS (http://fulltextrssfeed.com/)

    I would love to have http://fulltextrssfeed.com/ implemented into bazqux. Have a button that changes the feed to fulltextfeed.. (They even have an API so it should be trivial to implement..)

    I’ve installed Five Filters Full-Text RSS service on one of my servers.

    Try it to convert truncated feeds to full ones

    I don’t want to add button that changes feed URL (starred/tagged items will become linked to another feed and it will be harder to export feed to other readers). Prefer getting full text for the whole feed inside the reader but it will require more work so I can’t say ETA.

  9. Ability to hide left navigation panel (subscribtion list)

    Toggling susbсription list display. To use all screen width for posts reading. There was a dedicated "U" shortcut in GR for such function.

  10. Keep items unread

    Add a lock control so that items can be kept unread even if browsed.
    The point is to browse over some items that are too long to read right now, but that I will want to read later.

  11. Move the "Share" link to the bottom of an article

    At present moment, the "share" link is placed on the right top corner. It is not useful, because if I decide to share an article with my friends, I have to scroll up to find this button and then scroll down back to a next article.
