Fold tags in articles longer than certain length
Certain sites tend to stuff a lot of keywords into their tags. It would be great if such tags were collapsed/folded to maximize useful screen space.
For example article like these https://imgur.com/eAqah9j.png
4 lines of pointless tags could be collapsed into 1 and expanded with a click.3 votes -
Customizable refresh rate (update schedule) for a particular feed
Add an option to customize (mostly to increase) timeout between content retrieval for a particular feed.
Use case: high volume feed results in frequent portions of posts (likely few times a day); with less frequent retrieval it's easier to get more posts to read them in one sitting and have it in clear (all read) state for a longer period of time.7 votes -
Sharing pictures when e-mailing
When sharing via e-mail on here it seems to only include a link...doesn't make it into a hyperlink when I try it. It also doesn't give the person you're sending it to any idea of what it's about.
A picture speaks a thousand words and if you're sharing them on Facebook or other services it will sometimes include the picture along with it. Sometimes the picture will be censored if it's of a mature nature. I don't think censoring would be necessary for personal e-mail sent back and forth and it'd be a great way to share.

Feed statistics
It would be nice to get statistics of the feeds. How often retrieved, errors, not available, etc.

Mark all as read and Unsubscribe alerts don't work in Firefox
I don't think it's an extension issue. They work fine in Chrome. In Firefox the buttons just seem to do nothing.

Point and number of comments in heading for posts from social media sites
For popular sites such as Reddit and HackerNews, it would be great if Bazqux would provide additional information such as number of points and comments in the title of the post, and provide sorting on this additional metadata

Allow users to redirect URL
Popular sites such as reddit are content heavy so it is preferable to use old.reddit.com or www.teddit.net. When clicking on Bazqux link, it means copying the link and then modifying it. It would be super-convenient, if users can add such a URL redirection in their account preferences and Bazqux looks up the mapping and rewrites the URL when a click event occurs.

Notifier Extension for Firefox
One of the most essential features for me in an rss reader is an extension to see my unread articles. One seems to exist for chrome ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bazqux-notifier/fgoenlfbfnofepaodjepdhkoepoogedb ), but there doesn't appear to be one for firefox.

Include the timestamp in mobile views.
I pretty much exclusively use the "List View", which on desktop includes the timestamp on each row (5m, 1d, 1w etc). That info is really handy to see at a glance, but gets removed on smaller screens. It would be really nice if it could still appear in mobile, even if it has to be a really tiny font.

Allow hiding feeds from "Latest"
As per your suggestion in https://bazqux.uservoice.com/forums/190752-general/suggestions/40967908-ability-to-disable-feeds, it would be great to be able to hide particularly noisy feeds from the "Latest" auto-stream.

One-time “View read” button
Google Reader had a nifty feature: “View read” button that didn’t switch feed view mode to “Show read” permanently.
Case in point: I want to find some recent article marked as read (intentionally or not).
Current behaviour: I need to go into menu and find “Show all” item, find the feed entry I need then switch back to “Show unread” mode.
Desired behaviour: I press button “View read”, look through read articles, then, after reloading feed or switching to another view only unread articles are shown again.
I personally don’t see any use in permanent “Show all” mode, but that’s…

create a keyboard shortcut for opening a subscription feed for a particular item
Many times when I'm scrolling through a list of feeds and come across an interesting item from one of the particular subscriptions, I immediately think to open that particular subscription to see more of its items. I wonder whether there can be a keyboard shortcut that can send the reader to that subscription. Thanks for your great service!

Allow special characters in filter searches
I'd like to be able to search for certain strings like [Sponsor] - right now the "[" character causes an error, or if I try escaping it with [, it doesn't affect the results returned.

Focus reading mode
I would like to have a clean "focus" mode for reading. For me that means:
1) Only show 1 article at a time.
2) Hide feed list (left side).
3) Show full article text by default, so that I don't have to use "g" on every article.2 votes -
Public feed: Allow to add .xml to end of URL
I would like to use Youtube-dl to download my subscriptions' videos to watch them locally. However the public feed does not allow XML feeds without a .xml at the end of the URL.
So it would be nice to allow public feeds to append a .xml behind it's URL so youtube-dl does work.

Create browser-specific registry or ini file entries for bazqux appearance settings so they are not lost when browser crashes
Browser crashes happen for diverse reasons, and more often than they should. Unfortunately, due to the current bazqux design, all the (many) bazquz appearance settings need to be reset manually each time the browser crashes. It would be much more convenient to store those settings, by browser, either in the Windows registry or in an ini file in an appropriate bazqux user settings folder.

Ability to disable feeds
I have a lot of feeds and not a lot of time. I have a few tagged with "Must read" but there are a bunch that I only want to look at occasionally or rarely.
Rather than wasting resources fetching them all the time, is it possible to create a special tag/folder called "Disabled" and I can keep feeds I don't want to regularly read from in there. This way those feeds won't constantly be fetched.
