    Hello,

what about the idea when marking a folder read, bq jumps the the next folder with unread items automatically (just like hitting space bar)?

  3. Allow mark all as unread

When I subscribe to a new blog, older entries are marked read. Often I want to browse the entire feed history, and currently marking all unread is quite tedious.

  4. Undo "Mark all as read"

Accidentally pressed button. If it would be possible to undo this operation even for a few seconds, I could be saved. Now I need to spend a few hours finding lost articles.

  5. Sort by number of unread feed items

I'd love to be able to view all feeds (or feeds in a folder) by number of unread items. It will make the process of "cleaning out" large feeds much easier. Thanks for the wonderful product!

  6. Refining jump to next feed

The current implementation of jump to next feed is kind of a blunt tool. I suggest the following refinement. When at an beginning or end of a view. Using "j", "k", "L" or Spacebar to go past the border will:

    1. Cancel all current and queued keypresses.
    2. Show a small notice that the current action will advance feeds. I suggest a colored or gray bar above the first item or below the last item.
    3. Add a small delay, before accepting new keypresses.
    4. Continuing presses past the border will then advance feeds.

This will prevent incorrect feed changes, an having to manually…

  7. Duplicate Feed Filter

When doing imports of OPML files a lot of feeds can end up duplicated, especially when trying to keep youtube subscriptions in sync. It would be nice to either have a button to delete duplicate subscriptions or have them filtered out on import.

  8. Show comments to Dreamwidth.org blogs

Many Russian users migrate from LiveJournal.com to Dreamwidth.org due to censorship concerns (LJ moved their servers to Moscow).
Only number of comments is shown for blog posts on dreamwidth.org for now but not comments content itself.
It would be useful to be able to see all new comments as it is possible for Livejournal`s posts now.

  9. Mark as read on j/k if "Mark read - On click" is set

I do want to scroll the list without marking scrolled articles read.
But the sole option of this behaviour - "Mark on click" doesn't mark an article on pressing hotkeys, thus a reader must additionally press "m" after "j" or use mouse

  10. Implement comments API

Please implement comments API. Because fetched from the original posts comments - is killer feature of BazQux. I really would see comments in mobile applications such NewsJet, News+ and Just Reader.

Very simple feature that I miss in RSS readers for years. It seems to be implemented only in commafeed right now.

  15. Saving Webpages

Seeing that it's almost already a common feature on other Feed Readers, what are your thoughts on saving external webpages to BazQux?

This here for example is Feedbin's version of it
    https://feedbin.com/blog/2019/08/20/save-webpages-to-read-later/

Do you think it's possible to implement it here as well or is it beyond your resources?

  16. Create Default Display Order / override by individual feed optional

Create a default setting for the display order Oldest / Newest first and then allow an individual feed to override the option by feed.

  17. Floating message bar

I mean the menu bar that shows the status of e.g. starred, read, etc. of a message.

Now it's on the right top corner of a article. If the top of the article scrolls out of sight, then I also can't see the menu bar. Therefore some sort of floating menu bar would be nice; in other words: it should always be visible.

It would be nice to define colours for tags (red, blue, green etc) and have the articles highlighted or at least the tags within them.

  20. Way to get the previous read post

When reading with "Show new" selected. Making a misstake can make it hard find the previous post.
    Example:
    * Reading a feed with "Show new" active.
    * About half of the alticles are read, the second half is unread.
    * The user makes a mistake (close the browser, clicks a bookmark).
    * The only way to get back to the article would be switching to "Show all" and scrolling past all the previusly read post to find the last read post.
