One-time “View read” button
Google Reader had a nifty feature: “View read” button that didn’t switch feed view mode to “Show read” permanently.
Case in point: I want to find some recent article marked as read (intentionally or not).
Current behaviour: I need to go into menu and find “Show all” item, find the feed entry I need then switch back to “Show unread” mode.
Desired behaviour: I press button “View read”, look through read articles, then, after reloading feed or switching to another view only unread articles are shown again.
I personally don’t see any use in permanent “Show all” mode, but that’s…

create a keyboard shortcut for opening a subscription feed for a particular item
Many times when I'm scrolling through a list of feeds and come across an interesting item from one of the particular subscriptions, I immediately think to open that particular subscription to see more of its items. I wonder whether there can be a keyboard shortcut that can send the reader to that subscription. Thanks for your great service!

Public feed: Allow to add .xml to end of URL
I would like to use Youtube-dl to download my subscriptions' videos to watch them locally. However the public feed does not allow XML feeds without a .xml at the end of the URL.
So it would be nice to allow public feeds to append a .xml behind it's URL so youtube-dl does work.

Allow special characters in filter searches
I'd like to be able to search for certain strings like [Sponsor] - right now the "[" character causes an error, or if I try escaping it with [, it doesn't affect the results returned.

Create browser-specific registry or ini file entries for bazqux appearance settings so they are not lost when browser crashes
Browser crashes happen for diverse reasons, and more often than they should. Unfortunately, due to the current bazqux design, all the (many) bazquz appearance settings need to be reset manually each time the browser crashes. It would be much more convenient to store those settings, by browser, either in the Windows registry or in an ini file in an appropriate bazqux user settings folder.

Ability to disable feeds
I have a lot of feeds and not a lot of time. I have a few tagged with "Must read" but there are a bunch that I only want to look at occasionally or rarely.
Rather than wasting resources fetching them all the time, is it possible to create a special tag/folder called "Disabled" and I can keep feeds I don't want to regularly read from in there. This way those feeds won't constantly be fetched.

Create filter that marks as read based on the number of items in a feed
eg a high traffic feed would only show the last 10 items, auto marking the previous items as read

Saving Webpages
Seeing that it's almost already a common feature on other Feed Readers, what are your thoughts on saving external webpages to BazQux?
This here for example is Feedbin's version of it
https://feedbin.com/blog/2019/08/20/save-webpages-to-read-later/Do you think it's possible to implement it here as well or is it beyond your resources?

Add ability to sort Facebook and Twitter crawls by likes
Bazqux is amazing. Lovely. Worth more than I pay.
I'd LOVE the ability to sort social media posts by the number of likes.
There are many feeds where the top 10% is great, but the rest is chatter. This would really improve the already stellar product I think, especially for those into digital minimalism.

Set Mark Read setting by folder/feed
For example: I want my YouTube folder to mark an article as read on click while the other folders should be marking articles as read by scrolling through it.

Add an option to read article in a separate pane, rather than inline
I would like the ability to be able to read the current article, and scan through the list of articles in my current feed at the same time. Would use space more efficiently on ultra wide screen monitors.
On mobile this would probably require opening a separate view.

Implement a system of Rules for feeds
Similar to the way Inoreader does it, you can set a list of criteria for a feed item to "match" and then the system does a specific action, eg send to Pocket, email to x, save as PDF to google drive etc

TikTok
Just curious, is there any chance getting TikTok onto the Social Media train here on BazQux. If there's one service that would be able to handle it then it's yours. Or isn't the API giving it away?

On mobile move toolbar to the bottom of the screen
Current mobile screens become bigger and bigger and it's becomes uncomfortable to reach toolbar when it's on top of the screen.
Moving it to the bottom should help

Apple Login
Implement Apple login as registration method!! https://developer.apple.com/sign-in-with-apple/
Facebook and Google are already there, I think it would not be a big problem to add the Apple one too!

"Updated Articles" category
On Feedbin, there is an "Updated" category that shows updated articles, with the possibility to highlight the differences between the latest and previous versions (green and red highlight of the text).
I suppose it shows them only if the word count difference is beyond a certain extent and excludes views/likes/comments counts (otherwise it would become an annoyance to the reader). Moreover, it gives the option to mute updates on a per feed basis.
