Automatically star items based on filters
Would it be possible to star items the same way we can hide them with filters?
Think of Actions in Feedbin.

Add a right to left swipe for articles in the mobile UI
Unfortunately i have this recurring issue with third party apps that allow for swiping where the same article appears multiple times. It's annoying and a waste of time. The only thing these apps habe that Bazqux mobile UI doesn't have is swipe right to left on an article to mark it as read/unread. I also think this method would solve a lot of the other issues listed here, people who are looking for a solution tk keeping unrrad articles unread while scrolling past them, without having to make extra clicks/touches.

Visible divider between content separated widely in time
I sometimes get a lot of unread news. When trying to get through it I will always start from today and work my way back since news will still come in and it gets more irrelevant the further back I go. This means that there will be gaps of several days between new content and content i haven't had time to go through. I would like there to be some kind of visible border when I reach the end of new and come to the beginning of the backlog.
This idea could even be expanded to having some kind of…

Apple Pay
Add Apple Pay as payment method! This is the second idea about Apple, the truth I’m in the ecosystem and I guess there are a lot of other people like me!

Add an option to display starred items sorted according to their pubDate
(Currently it's the time/date that you star them that is taken into account...)

"View all items" temporarily
Google Reader (FMM rest its soul) had a nifty usability feature: when all feed items were read, it displayed "View all items" instead of items themselves (just like BazQux). However, it displayed all items only once, not switched feed to "Show all" mode.
Use case in point: I've accidentally scrolled too far, marking everything as read. Or I want to look up some of the recent items to share the link. Now I click button, which changes feed settings and disappears altogether, so I have to remember to change settings back, and do it in another place.

Article bookmark
For articles too long to read in one sitting – a way to mark the point in the article where you stopped reading.

Show read items only
Along the "Show new" selector it would be useful to have a "Show read" choice with which only those items are shown which are already read.
Raitonale: one might wants to go back to a post that has been read before, or recollect what was read recently. That's really hard with busy feeds where the read ones are like a few percentage of all items.

Automatic Behance feed search
Behance has a feed for every profile located at https://www.behance.net/feeds/user?username=PROFILENAME. It will be cool if BazQux can generate these links automatically.

Add command to scroll to article bottom
The reader has command (hotkey "u") to scroll to the article top. Need new command to jump to the bottom.
Now, if the user wants to see comments after a long article, he should press PgDn many times.2 votes -
complete data export
Currently it's possible to export only urls of subscribed feeds. It would be desirable to be able to export the data that the service stores for the feeds and also user submitted metadata (folders, stars). Like with Google Takeout... to not be locked into the service.

"List view" and "Mosaic view" should also display "mark as unread" button.
I use "Mark read on scroll", but some itens I restore as unread when I think it's something like "read it later, but not late enough to deserve a star". Like "read it later, but today".
I use "List view" for some feeds/folders and "Mosaic view" for others, and these two view modes are the only ones without a visible button to mark as unread (without the need to expand the item).
I think the circle button to mark as unread should be visible for these two view modes too. This small change would help a lot without disturbing anything.

YouTube live streams are not being delivered
For instance, this channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3zwjSYv4k5HKGXCHMpjVRgIs streaming for 9 hours, but the video of the stream wasn't fetched.
If you look at the RSS:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UC3zwjSYv4k5HKGXCHMpjVRgThe streaming (v=V5Upo9ytbBI) is there like any other video.
But BazQux seem to replace the RSS by https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UU3zwjSYv4k5HKGXCHMpjVRg&bq_guid_format=yt%3Avideo%3AVIDEO_ID, which doesn't display streamings.
Is there any way to subscribe to the RSS or to get streamings as it should?

"Mosaic view" should display the star button
Mosaic view is the only one without the star button. I view my YouTube feed in mosaic mode and I often need to boorkmark videos to view them later. It's a bit uncomfortable to have to expand each item for the star button to be displayed.

Some way to postpone reading an item until later, without marking it as read
The problem: the top of my feed is perpetually clogged with things I want to get around to reading at some point, but not just right now. Meanwhile there are lots of older items I probably would be interested in reading right now (or would mark as read, if I'm no longer interested in them), but I never see them, because I would have to press "j" a hundred times to skip over all the other ones at the beginning.
Potential solution #1: A "send to back" action which moves the item to the end of the list. It is…

Add a way to customize sharing options
I only care about two of the sharing options (email/instapaper in my case) so I'd like to be able to have those two show directly on the feed items to make it one click to share to instapaper for example.
(I'm checking out bazqux as a replacement for digg reader, which has this option, which was my replacement for google reader)

Let users extend CSS per account
It would be great to have the possibility to add custom persistent CSS rules to have the UI more appealing (e.g. font-size or colors). One could also use Stylish for that but I do not want to install it just for BazQux.

Random read mode
I have rarely the time to read all the articles, so at this time my unread count is about 5000. By standard you can read the articles sorted by publication date, so I'll never achieve to read the ones at the end of the list.
It would therefore be nice to have a random reading list, so that old and new articles are sort of mixed. That way I will finally read those articles who now I will never reach ....
