Replace old youtube RSS urls with new ones
Today youtube discontinued support for their APIv2 so all RSS links in format https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/USERNAME/uploads?alt=rss&v=2&orderby=published&client=ytapi-youtube-profile is now not working
The new RSS url is https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user=USERNAME
Examples
https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/scishow/uploads?alt=rss&v=2&orderby=published&client=ytapi-youtube-profile
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user=scishow
Is it possible to update all RSS url's with old url to the new one? I subscribed to about a hundred channels and importing them all manually ill be a hassle. I imagine I'm not the only one
You can read more about it here http://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/339idg/youtube_just_dropped_its_support_for_rssatom_feeds/Thanks

Fix please - list of acticles is emptied after click on "Mark all as read"
The case: mode "Show all" is ON. We see the read articles in grey font and new ones in black font. Once we click on "Mark all as read" the list of articles gets totally cleared and emptied. To see them all again (in grey) the page should be reloaded.
That really makes me totally crazy. Any way to help?4 votesFixed

Mark all as read feature in a filter view
Hi, when I filter all posts in all feeds by some search term ('subject:microsoft' for example) it's impossible to mark all filtered results as read either with the interface button or with the keyboard sortcut.

Support a new tablet mode
With the proliferation of Windows Surface tablets, I was very surprised when I got my new Samsung Chromebook Plus that BazQux doesn't seem to have a tablet mode.
Is it possible to enhance the GUI a bit to make it easier to navigate on a tablet? Bigger Next/Previous button (maybe even swiping like News+)?
I spend at least an hour per day in BazQux, so this would really enhance my experience.
4 votesI think this option is supported with mobile web interface
https://blog.bazqux.com/2018/07/mobile-web-interface.htmland you could change reader font size (which increases size of buttons) in Appearance dialog:

Add support for PubSubHubbub protocol.

Allows for RSS to be virtually real-time, rather than fixed polling period.4 votesSupported over a year ago. But not all feeds support PubSubHubbub

Add option for filters to automatically apply to subsequently added feeds
Everytime I add a new feed I need to review all my filters and check the "missing" checkboxes...
4 votesDone. New feeds are now automatically added to filters and smart streams that work on more than a half of your feeds (so specific per-feed filters are left as is but global filters applied automatically).

Increase frequency of feed inquiries
Looks like GR is working slightly faster on getting news.
3 votesI think that feed fetching rate is more or less adequate. Nobody had voted for this since 2013 so I’m closing it.

Ability to turn off or permanently collapse all comments
I rarely read the comments, and having them populate is annoying--yes, I can collapse them post-by-post, but a permanent collapse, or, even better, a permanent unsubscribe from comments, would be very, very nice.
3 votesThere are 5 view mode buttons below filter. All except first are with comments collapsed.
You can select “Latest” and press ‘2’ to collapse comments in all feeds -
Add a "must read" option for feeds
It'd be nice to have a way to mark a subset of my feeds as "must read" and then be able to browse a stream of only my "must read" feeds. As it stands, I can't both have my feeds categorized into topic folders and also be able to read only a subset of them - I have to either read everything (through Latest), or read a single feed/folder at a time.
An alternate option would be to simply allow me to toggle whether a feed shows up in Latest or not.
3 votesI think it’s more or less adequately solved with putting feed into “Must read” folder (and feeds could be in multiple folders, although yes, it’s non-obvious).

Prune/delete/mark_read content after certain time
Lets say you go away for a while. Maybe you go on vacation, loose interest in news, or just in general get busy in life. You come back after a week or 5 and see you have thousands of articles to sort. It's a shock to the system and creates undue anxiety.
A nice feature would be to simply allow articles to
- become marked as read
- be move someplace else or flagged
- deleted altogether as if they never existed
I believe this would be a very nice feature and one that I would enjoy.
3 votesThere is already such functionality here.
“Mark all as read” button has drop down menu (click on the triangle on the right side of the button). You can mark items older than a day/week/two weeks/month/year as read. -
Space bar navigation should stop at each article
While you're using the space bar to scroll along, Even if an article is 1.5 pages long, when you click SPACE again, the next article should stop at the top of the reading pane. Basiclaly a hybrid page\down and next article behavior.
3 votesSpacebar now doesn’t select next article until current one is fully read. That means that next article is always scrolled to top when it selected on the next spacebar press.

Twitter Plugin
Have you thought about integrating the Twitter plugin to show embed Tweets in articles properly?
Some Feeds provide a full article view, so I can comfortably read them on bazqux. But whenever Tweets are embed I have to navigate to the website to see the full content of it, which kinda kills the workflow.
3 votesDone. Recent posts should show embedded tweets fine.

Mark as read on jump
Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't it be more efficient and comfortable if skipped over articles would be marked as read automatically? Especially regarding the expanded view and assuming mark as read on scroll is enabled.
Best example is a Twitter timeline. Most of the time you have small message boxes so you end up skipping through them by clicking on links or opening tweets in new tabs, and everytime you do it, it leaves tweets that you actually have read but haven't marked as such (by manually scrolling through them) as unread, which often leads to confusion or simply…
3 votesDone. It was in my TODO list for a long time. Can’t even remember why it wasn’t fixed for so long. Thank you for reminding about it.

Twitter images
A while back Twitter implemented the feature to upload up to 4 images at once in a Tweet. On Twitter you can also see a grid preview of the uploaded images. Would it be possible to implement such a preview on BazQux as well? Right now you always see only one image showing, so you never know whether there's more unless you open the Tweet in a new tab.
3 votesDone. All images will be shown in new tweets.

Implement an Adaptive Design
The way the design works today, the full page is slightly larger than the screen 1920x1080 Adroid Chrome landscape screen (on Cyanogenmod 10.1). A properly implemented adaptive design should fix this and give you a proper layout for this, portrait and all resolutions in-between.

Ability to move a feed out of a folder back to the top level
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't find any way to move a feed OUT of a folder back to the top level. Once I put a feed in a folder, it seems to be stuck there, or it can be moved to another folder, but not OUT of all folders.
3 votesJust go to Folders menu and remove checkbox from current folder.
